Man, I tried to figure out a good way to do Brooklands for rFactor fifteen years ago. Real interested to see how this ends up turning out from a logistics point of view.

They have, apparently, had contact with Brooklands. The owners asked them to include the Napier Railton, which holds the lap record at 143.44mph. If they post a few pics of that on Twitter I'll share those.

You may be mistaking things with Racing Legends. This isn't that.

I am. This is a new game? When was it announced? When will it be released (cough, cough)?

They basically haven't announced it and are keeping fairly low key. It seems to be developing at a reasonable pace.
