Just four months after they acquired the well respected Ratbag Games studio (recently renamed Midway Australia), Midway Games have reportedly decided to shutter the studio, put 70 people out of work and remove a major player from the industry for no good reason whatsoever. Perhaps buying a studio for stocks worth $7 million wasn’t the best decision when your company Q3 losses totaled $29 million, eh Midway? It’s incredibly sad that we’re going to lose Ratbag because of this, their products really added something to the genre
