AIW Cam Editor won't launch on Windows 7

Hey guys, very weird prob here:
Trying to launch the AIW & Cam editor on a laptop with W7 x64, and it always shows up the configuration window. Once I set up the configuration and press OK, it shows the config window with default settings again. And all the time like that.
I've got v1.255 Lite, all the Devfiles installed. The very same configuration works on PC well.
Help!
 
Did you try to run the editor "as administrator"?

Make sure that you don't have any PlugIns installed. At least on my computer I can't get it running with plugins installed - without plugins everything is o.k.

I had a similar issue some time ago.
Disabling the G27 pLugins was the solution. Now it works like hell....
