Aiw problems and pace car

Hi. I have two problems on a poin to point circuit. I need to move the starting point and the pace car position.
How can i find them in rhe aiw file?

Short question: why don't you use the ISI AIW-Editor for rF1?

And with "starting point", do you mean the grid-positions of the cars or where the game notices the start/finish line?

To move the position where the game notices the start/finish line, you have to move a 3D-object (xfinish.gmt).

Solved thanks. I redo the aiw with btb and then applied on this hillclimb. I've tried the isi aiw tool but it crashes every time when in game
 
Ah, sorry, when i remember right, the AIW Editor don't likes it if you try to load an AIW file of a "point to point" circuit.
You need to start it with a blank AIW and eventually will have to add some road-meshes, to be able to run a complete "closed" lap.

But if you can do it with BTB.... :)
 
Yes, btb is magic in this kind of problems. Just placed the gates, copy the coordinates and made a blank track in btb with four waypoints for 17 km ahahahah. Fantastic
