Thanks to a Python script that reads the default dashboard from a DOSBOX window pixel by pixel and overlays a new dashboard on top of the window, the IndyCar Racing II community may soon be able to more accurately simulate many older vehicle analogue gauges. The mod, programmed by well-known ICR2 modder Steven “SK Chow” (known as checkpoint10 on the icr2.net forums), is done and fully functional but needs a little more bug fixing effort before he finds a way to make it easy to install and configure.
