Can't click anything on openng menu

Hi there. I downloaded the demo for rFactor 1 and after I've started it, skipped through the introduction videos, I can't click on anything. I'm on the screen where you're told to enter a name for the player and while I can move the cursor, clicking Proceed (or whatever it is) doesn't work. I cannot even get past this menu. I've restarted it many times, changed video settings and resolutions in the Config section but it's no good. Any idea what it could be? My laptop's 2 years old, it's a Dell Inspiron N5040 and it has integrated graphics.

When you click in the field where your drivername is asked for and the red underline appears, you are not able to write your name?
You have to fill in something into that field to activate the "accept"-button.
