Cant get the CD version to work

I bought r Factor in probably 07 but stopped playing for a while, now i want to and cant. I have the CD rom version purchased from frys. I downloaded the new .1255 and still it asks for an email and code which I did not ever use my email because I purchased it from the store. I would love to start playing again soon all help appreciated. It will only play in demo.

You downloaded a non-CD 1255. Your 1255 is under Updates... 1255F. http://rfactor.net/web/rf1/downloads/
