Car body not same in cockpit view as in spinner

steveluppino

I've noticed the car body shape in the cockpit view is not the same as the actuall shape in the spinner or gmt files. On some the width of the cockpit is too wide. Is it me or is there a different cockpit than the one in the gmt files used to generate the cockpit and other views or is there a way to narrow the width of the cockpit?

...and still no Hood in cockpit view for Nissan 370...
-sorry for offtopic-

rFactor 1 uses a different GMT for the actual driving view, generally it's only the forward half of the cockpit and tends to not include the hood/bonnet etc. If it's actually wider than the car that would seem a strange design decision, but I can't comment on specific mods.

Thanks for the response. I know it uses a seperate gmt. I just wondered if thats the gmt actually used for the driving view. It looks different in the spinner than in the driving view, alot wider in some cars. I'm talking mainly about F1 cars. eg if you remodel the cockpit gmt will it show in the driving view? Or is there another way to narrow the width of the cockpit?
