car damage - launch control - overturned car

BOLLOmanuel

Hello

I have 3 questions:

- is it possible to edit different damege between front and rear?

- how can I edit the Launch Control Sound? I tried modifying the 'Launch Control' line in .sfx file but it doesn't work

- is there a way to prevent a car to return on wheels if after an overtuning it remains head over hells?

thanks,
manuel

1. In which way ("No it's not possible" for deformation) and which parts?

2. What exactly did you do?

3. I don't think so, i would say that this is hardcoded. But i'm not 100% sure, never played around with it.

Hello redapg ;)

about the demage question: I mean wheels and suspensions, not deformation.. so after a collision the car in front suffer less damges then the car behind

the 'Launch Control' sound in .sfx sound is the activation Launch Control sound.. what I'd like to know is if there is a way to edit the engine sound during the Launch Control limiter.
I set up the Launch Control around 6000rpm.. so when I activate the Launch Control the sound is what the engine sound at 6000rpm that is absolutely different from the 'bangbangbangbangbang' of a real engine during the Launch Control

another question: I have problem to set the limiter sound too

To change the settings of the damage-behaviour of the Wheels, change the Values of the Wheel... entries in the damage file, they seem to have different values now.

And for the suspension parts, look into the gen files for DEBRIS-entries (if defined) and edit the according Part... entries in the damage file.

I fear there is no way to set an own Launch Control sound, i guess it is always taken from the existing engine sounds. Same with Limiter Sound.

I tested in many way, but in my .damage files I can not find where to edit different values between front and rear wheel's damage

now I copy the lines of my damage file about tires and wheels:

TireCutDull=(6000.0, 0.25) // Impulse and fraction of incidents to cut tire with dull object
TireCutSharp=(500.0, 0.65) // Impulse and fraction of incidents to cut tire with sharp object (body panel or wing)
WheelBend=250.0 // Impulse to bend wheel
WheelDetach=1800.0 // Threshold to detach wheel
WheelRandom=1.2 // Fraction of incidents where wheel actually breaks off
Wheel0MassInertia=(30.0, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0) // Mass and inertia
Wheel0CollParams=(11100.0, 105.0, 1.00) // Spring/damper/friction
Wheel1MassInertia=(30.0, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0) // Mass and inertia
Wheel1CollParams=(11100.0, 105.0, 1.00) // Spring/damper/friction
Wheel2MassInertia=(30.0, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0) // Mass and inertia
Wheel2CollParams=(11100.0, 105.0, 1.00) // Spring/damper/friction
Wheel3MassInertia=(30.0, 1.5, 1.0, 1.0) // Mass and inertia
Wheel3CollParams=(11100.0, 105.0, 1.00) // Spring/damper/friction

Yes sorry, my fault.
All wheels always have the same values for bend and detach. There is no possibilty to make differences.

So i guess it's just the fact that the direction and angle of the impact and e.g. wheel covering car parts, make a difference in how easy a wheel gets lost.
