Changing track banners

Hi all I am into modding in a big way I know how to get a track form 1 game to the next. but what I am looking for is a guide on how to change track banners and things on the tracks I have in game not the ones I am converting I don't want to redo any 3d work just the banners I have tried to work it my self but I just cant seem to get it to work.

Do you mean just editing the texture file? If so I believe the process is to open the file (assuming .DDS) in a photo editor, do you what want to do then save as a .DDS in the same folder as the .MAS file. That or you can re-pack the .MAS file.
