Crashes to desktop when loading track

Yes, I've seen the many other threads with this problem but none of the solutions I've seen have worked. I run it as administrator, have no mods installed, installed to C:\rfactor\ isntead of program files, reinstalled half a dozen times with and without running the installer as admin, tried different directx modes. Also, there is no error message, it just closes.

Here are my specs, I'd appreciate any help.

Dell Optiplex 320
Pentium 4 3.2GHz
2GB RAM
Windows 7 32-bit
ATI FirePro 2460

I know the graphics card is a bit odd for gaming but it works with every other game I've tried.
 
I have the same problem. Had the game for a couple of years without a hiccup. Have tried your same fixes but no help. Works fine until you hit the "race" button and screen goes black with message that windows closed the program. HELP!!
