If you're running Windows 7, right-click on rfactor and select "Run As Administrator..."

Running as admin only makes the screen go black for 2 seconds before CTD instead of doing it right away. It's a Stock install as i figured it was some mod doing it but it wasn't.

I have that problem too, funny thing is 5 days ago i installed it and played for 2 whole days without ANY issues!! (default game/track)
re-installing, running as admin, changing profile (as someone suggested), changing every config, nothing works...
