I recently got done in by a virus, Which ended up requiring a re-install of Windows and subsequent re-install of everything. In the process of getting rFactor back, Though, I've found a couple of interesting changes. First, The activation process has changed, Which i knew was going to happen at some point with Trymedia closing down, But what it installs is of more interest.
It seems that the new installer is whatever version was the 'final' in-house version, As it contains 3 of the ovals that were mentioned in .rfm's but never released, Texas doesn't have a working AIW and seems very much w.i.p. Plus other files seems tweaked, As I managed to get a terrain.tdf mismatch on a server which I managed to fix with an older variant from http://files.imagespaceinc.com/ I'm just wondering if this was intentional or not on ISI's part
