Dashboard shifting lights

Hi all,

i now this topic was already discussed, but i didn´t find the answer i was looking for.

I would like to ask you how could i change the rpm at which my dashboard lights turn on in rF.
I have a mod with a dashboard and shift lights that turn on two by two as rpm increases. But i was not able to find a setable parameter allowing to change when they turn on anywhere.

Could you please point me in the right direction?

Hi,

You can change with 3dsimed or 3dmax, not straight in rFactor. All rpm leds have a material name, you find in somewhere in the cockpitinfo.ini, like RPMLED=XX XX= the led material name with numbers. The rpm led start from 01 to 31. The led 31 is the last, where is the rpm limit. So you need to change the numbers for these material names. E.g. If you have 5 leds, normally i set the numbers 22, 24, 26, 28, 30. I use the 31 only in open wheel mods, where is enough power to take the rpm limit.
