Driving force gt wheel maping keys

So i just got rFactor 1 now the wheel im using is the Logitech driving force GT and im having problems mapping the controls as an example I want to make the back gear sticks change gear instead of the L3 and R3 keys.

So what happens?
Is your weel recognized by rf? (move wheel or press pedals and you can see it respond (settings/controls)
If it responds you need to re-assign buttons simply by clicking on the action (gear up) and click on the wheelbutton/flap

if it doesn't respond and stays the same leave rf and make sure there are no other controllers plugged in (like a tablet or joystick)

Also there are presets in settings/controls, not sure what they do but mine is az keyboard. maybe fiddle with them abit as well.

How old is your profiler? The second version released after the DFGT had some functionality added for this wheel. Perhaps grab the latest?

Otherwise just customize the mappings.
