Haven't ever tried to use a linux box for rFactor, but here're some suggestinos:
Looks like rFactor can not find it's licence and offers you to buy one.
Do you want to run a dedicated on this machine or do you want to play rFactor itself? The dedicated doen't need an licence. Maybe you try running the "rFactor dedicated.exe" instead of the "rFactor.exe".
I suppose we are talking about online rF version, so you have to re-register rf on ubuntu.
However I don't know if Trymedia protection will work on linux correctly.
