Error loading texture Sky for material SKY

[V6_]

I downloaded a track and whenever I start it I get this list of errors:

error loading sky material for sky
error loading Global material sky
error loading texture sky for material sky.

How do I fix this? I really want to play it.

Try deleting any skybox related GMTs from the Locations folder (backup).

Thank you, I deleted both the Sky.gmt and skyboxi.gmt in the track folder and it works.

i have the same problem but the sky.gmt and skyboxi.gmt do not appear in track folder.

How fix this??

Do you have THIS Version (Autobahn 1.2) installed?
That should run without any trouble.

If you (and others too) seriously want to get help, please post a downloadlink of the track you've got the problem with.
Then others can download it too and try to find out whats up

Sometimes the reason is just an overloaded Locations-folder.

reversed solution, try find the gmt's in the track-folder and copy them in to Locations. I recall fixing a simulair issue that way long ago.

To solve the problem do the following:

Open the NFSS_Dubai.scn with an editor and add the line:
MASFile=commonmaps.mas

under the line:
MASFile=srpl.mas

I think the modder did forget it or he forgot to add his own textures into the existing *.MAS-files.
