Error opening core shaders MAS file CORESHADERS.MAS

When I try to open rFactor I get a gMotor 2 Error, Error opening core shaders MAS file CORESHADERS.MAS.

I've reinstalled a clean rFactor install as per Bee's instructions, updated my video driver, and tried all the different versions of directx, but every time I try to open rFactor I get the same error message.

Try downloading the file here (assuming your rF version is 1255)

http://files.imagespaceinc.com/1255/GameData/Shared/

and installing it in rFactor/GameData/Shared

could you please post the current content of the CONFIG.INI file within that fresh installation of rF1?

Sorry. Fixed

I was trying to run the program from my documents in windows 7, since I included the rFactor folder within the library. Using a shortcut to the "c:\program files(x86)\rFactor\" path fixed the issue
