Extracting track layout information as a text file

Hello,

Is it possible to extract the track layout information of an existing track in text file form?
I'm not too strict about the format, could be GPS coordinates, or a set of track sections containing straights and corners with a specific radius.

The aim would be to model the track with an external lap time simulation software and do some experiments.

I stumbled across a program that might be what your looking for.

The program is called 3DSimED.
I dont really know how to use it yet, but I know that it has the ability to show you the track as a 3D model, and you can create a xml files like gps data when you export it to bobs track builder.
