F1 1991 HE Setup

Ayrton

TEST track: Interlagos 1990

-REAL pole lap performance: Ayrton Senna 1:16.393

Now, basically you cannot compare real driving with simulation but:

-On F1 Challenge 1991 mod I've managed to do 1:16.450 with McLaren

-On rFactor with F1 1991 HE mod you need to setup a lot before reaching those times,
I suppose...

McLaren Mp4-6

With basic setup and Suzuka engine I cannot do better than 1:26.020

Williams FW14

This car reacts really better than McLaren (despite in reality wasn't fast as McLaren)
and with basic setup and best engine I cannot do better than 1:22.450

Now, someone can help me giving me some setups to compete with AI 100% level?

I only have 1991 LE setups for Imola, never used HE so i dont know if its portable.

But -and dont get mad- if you cannot beat the AI, are you sure its the setup and not something else? setups only get you so far, the majority of reasons why people get fast is how they drive, lines, braking zones and most importantly exit speeds.

Why dont you ask the makers of the mod???

Sure, driving ability and no mistakes are an important factor but another thing that is not normal (for example) is that in main straight lines the car often doesn't reach 290 Kph (6 Gear). Maybe is just a matter of correct setup... I will ask.
