I was doing an endurance race against AI the other day when I noticed something odd. I'd put my AI partner in control of the car for a stint and went and got a bite to eat. when I came back, it was driving along the rather high speed back straight, 15 km over the max speed I could attain without draft and it did this lap after lap after lap. The thing is, I was poorly setup for the top speed I was getting and maxing out about 500m before the braking point, the AI was reaching speeds as if the car was well setup.
Anyone know how to fix this? I'm pretty sure I'm the slow one rather than the AI being fast.
