GTPC mod - how do I get AI to use qual engine

I love the new GTPC mod but can somebody please tell me how to get the AI to use the qualifying engine in qualifying? I've tried selecting the qual engine for my car (porsche 956) before, and also during the race weekend, but the AI 956s just keep using the race engine. I haven't checked what the other AI do.

When you edit the *.HDV file(s) in that way that the default engine is the Qualy-engine, the AI will use it.
But they will use it for all sessions then, as it is now with the race-engine.

But attention, editing the *.HDV file will cause online-mismatches.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will just stick with the 1000km engine for qualifying aswell.
