HELP - Boost Function

I am looking to add a boost function at certain points around a track, I have been playing around with the rf_Highvoltage mod, and it doesn't really give me the effect that I was looking for. I have increased the gain parameter on there mod to the max which still doesn't give me enough power.

Does anyone know whether it would be possible to do this and how?
