hi just rfactor 2'd my computer, but with Windows 7, I can't get online with rfactor

hi, as the title says..i have just upgraded my computer, now running Windows 7, I have downloaded and subscribed to Rfactor 2 which is running fine,...sadly, I can no longer run rfactor 1, which has caused me no end of grief, as I have had to back out of many weeks of online team racing because i can't seem to join the server without getting 'join timed out'

i am running as an administrator, it has cleared my firewall..

I can't figure it.

please help if you can.
