How do I bypass the default car and track?

I recently purchased the download version, activated, can view and select the tracks and cars, but can only run one track and vehicle. After I select load a different series, track and vehicle, it will only revert to the default track and car. Is there a setting to correct this?

Try right clicking on the rfactor.exe and selecting "Run As Administrator..."

yes, i had that problem too when i re-installed rfactor on another machine. now when i load mods i get a mas90 error or something like that. totally frustrating. the mod is the 1991 F1 Historic Edition and I had no problems whatsoever loading it on my laptop earlier this year. help....
