Over time I have installed many Mods, most of which I no longer use. This has caused rFactor to be very slow in loading. How do I remove unwanted mods?
Remove them manually is a must file by file if mods not have been installed from a exe file that also get you a unistall file.
When delete files manually can be hard maybe you delete some files that is sound to a mod or something else ?
When i have 40 mods and 300 tracks in 1 rfactor locations that for some reason crash or i just wanna get off some mods it just do the easiest way i copy my userdata folder and the controller folder then i ussualy copy the locations folder with all tracks also.
When that is done i delete the rfactor folder.
Now is time to do a new rf installation then install with mods i wanna drive replace userdata folder and controller folder and last the locations folder where i have all tracks.
That is how i do it instead of delete files manually and mess up some mods sound tracks
Or use a addon so you pick what mods you wanna have rfactor to load only so rfactor starts faster if not rfactor crash and you have problems with that
