How put srpl shaders on your car?

Hello perhaps someone

can give me a tutorial or link how I can get those nice shiny shaders on my car...



I red the shader manual in the other thread and guess I know enough about the tools now

but still I do not suceed because of several questions I have.

For example if I use the shader tool 1

and change the gmt file.

Is it enough to put the new gmt into the folder or must I compress it into the mas file again?

or

If I take a gmt file of the car what about the material settings before are these settings regardless?

It's easier to use rFactorMaterialTool2

The other tool is an old one that I used before shaders had any parameters. It can still be usefull sometimes, that's why it's included in the package.

As for modified GMT files:
-modified GMT file must be in one of search patches listed in car's .gen file
-if you modify some material, you should modify it in all GMT files, not just one. My tools will do that, as long as you use them on all files.
 
Shaders do not affect the game just like that.

Cars have to be updated to use these shaders. If a given car or track is updated, it will have shaders no matter if you select a season or All Cars & Tracks option.
