Im new. but not to racing!

Hey guys, couldn't see a "Introduction " thread on my phone so hope this is ok

The names Rusty, the EMW is the Hptlapping team i represent on Forza Motorsports (3 and now 4) which is one of the fastest teams on the game. We have over 40 members so i sure as hell ain't the quickest, but i do like punching above my weight limit

But i've come here in search of better racing, and possulibly abetter game!!

Forza 4 has been a bit of a let down and theirs too many Need for Speed wannabees on that game who deliberately wreck you to pass you.

I've always been big in communitys, hosting my own forza leagues for 3 years now so i know all about the "Gentlemens etiquette "

I basicly, im after a few quick pointers in to, what i need and to.why Rfactor is better than forza

Im 24, employed and a big VW nutter, i prefer driving FWD 100-300 bhp, but enjoy the challenge of DTM and JGTC cars


I hope to hear from some of you soon, as im a bit of a forum whore

Because rfactor creators is specialist in what is doing. Team not needed publisher, because the product speak for itself. So team is decided when will product properly represent teams work, quality in the end. Team will decide when will product good enough for public release, not publisher. So te only barrier here is ability of team. But in that way works many teams that create best sim games like nkP, LFS, iracing and so on. So any of that will be big step up from Forza, although Forza is not that bad, than rest of the console racing games(excluding GT5). In the end is up to you, if you agree with team philosophy of racing game. But remember till now rfactor is the only completely open platform and is still quality game, still can we call it a sim racing game. Other platforms(games) is closed for a reason.
