In desperate need for reverse exe activation assistance

So I bought my copy of rFactor after the activation methods changed.

However, I have run into numerous problems with 2012/2013 mods, which require a specific exe (downloaded with the mod) in order to have the KERS and DRS to work, and the same exe is required to take part in leagues.

It's all good and well when copying it over, and the KERS and DRS works. But the problem is, it's the old 1.255 exe that is sent with the mod, which means that my game is in trial mode again, as it is not activated on the old system.

Please, is there any way at all to activate my 1.255b exe with the old system? I know you can activate your old exe with the new system, but not vice versa.

Any help will be appreciated, guys.

The old activation system is going/gone, that's why we made the new one.
 
But the old system is still used by everyone that registered on it, so it really should be done.

But it's all good.
 
It CANT BE DONE. They no longer support the product, and if their company goes away entirely, we're not prepared to let everyone who purchased rF1 have to purchase it again simply because of that.
