Logitech G27 exe and RealFeel

fobban

Hello!

I'm just curious if anybody has managed to get the RealFeel plugin to work properly with the available G27 exe?

Doesn't matter if I have effect low or full, or negative or positive FFB value (or zero for that matter). The FFB is incredibly strong whatever i choose.

I know you're supposed to change from negative to positive values (FFB strength) when you use the G27 exe, but maybe there's something that needs to be done in the realfeel plugin's ini file too?

I appreciate any suggestions.

Where did you try to change the strength. In the wingman profiler or in rfactor?

This new EXE file reverses the FFB forces. So we need to drag the FFB strength slider from -100 to +100.Everything will be back to normal then. No need to change RealFeel settings or anything like that.

Tried the changes in rFactor (haven't tried in wingman). Tried both positive and negative values, but all feels weird. By Using the default exe everything works fine, but then I don't get the nice leds working :).

Strange. I haven't had any problems other then the swapped forces. I slid the FFB slider to the far right and called it a day.

The FFB of the G27 exe has a higher level than the standard rFactor.exe, thats all, you can correct this with lower values.

Thanks for all the tips but none seems to work. I've tried with positive values (that way the FFB feels ok), but it doesn't matter if I have 1% or 100% or if the FFB strength is low or high. It feels exactly the same either way.

Guess I have to use the default exe.

Leave the force in the Logitec Profiler set to 102%. The strength everyone is refering to is the seting in the game. On the old EXE you had to use -100 on Logi wheels. But this new EXE requires +100. Here is a screenshot:

Note: This screenshot was taken on my laptop. That is why FFB type is set to none. I am simply trying to point out the strength adjustment. Ignore the other settings.
