Lost Connection

Currently I am hosting a Dedicated Server with me and 2 of my friends and they can always stay connected but I always lose connection randomly, I can never normally make it to the race and even if I do, I cannot complete the race, anyone have any ideas? I've opened up the ports on my router and on windows firewall. Just to be sure, can anyone post the ports I need to have open just to make sure they are the right ones.

Here are my Speed Test Results, could anyone give me any recommended settings for the server and on the game?
 
Are you running a seperate computer as a dedicated server, and your using a second computer to join the dedicated server?
 
Sorry it's took me so long to reply, I've been away, but yes, I am running the dedicated server of another computer and using my gaming computer to join, it does the same thing anyway is I join and create on one computer.
 
How is your computer and also the server connected to the router?

Did you make a new player profile on the server, or did you just copy across your player folder from your main computer?
 
They are both connected through Ethernet and I have made a new profile on the dedicated server computer so using separate users.
 
Yes and I have opened up the ports on both windows firewall and AVG Firewall
 
The way you have it all setup, sounds exactly the same as what I'm using at my home.

What I did on my server, was to change the port numbers in the multiplayer.ini and open and then forward the ports to the servers static ip address.

34298 both tcp&udp
34398 both tcp&udp
34448 both tcp&udp

The computer I use to race with, is using the standard ports.

You can test on my server, its in the matchmaker list as F1GPrFactor running F1RFT 2012 version 2 mod and trackpack. There's no password on it. If your still getting disconnected, then i maybe something on your gaming pc.

I also disconnect from my friends server when he sets up a server but I'll try these new settings and report back :)
 
It still does not work as my server does not show up with the new ports :(
 
Did you change the ports on your router, aswell as the ports in the multiplayer file on the server?

What type of router are you using, then I can familiar myself with it.
 
yeah, I changed both in the multiplayer,ini, router and firewall (although I could not find anywhere to change 34448). I'm using a TP-Link Router (Model: TD-W8960N)

Your router doesn't have port forwarding, it has port triggering.
Its not designed to send the same inbound traffic to two seperate computers at the same time.
Only one computer at a time, cutting the inbound traffic to your pc so you time out.
 
ah, do is there nothing really that I can do, would be disappointing as I am hoping to start a league with the formula 1 community on YouTube and would be nice for me to actually compete in the my own league.
 
I just remembered that it does the same when I make the server on my gaming pc and play on my gaming pc
 
I've just joined a Mégane Trophy server and I lasted quite a while but in the end I got disconnected as usual and I had also changed the ports to my gaming pc
