Magenta 'tinge' to some textures

hi all,
recently this issue has popped its head up, magenta tinge to some textures. i dont experience this problem but some people who have this rfactor mod are experiencing it.

can anyone please shed some light on what is happening, if you need any details then let me know and i will post here for you

i'm running a GTX480 nVidia card with near latest drivers

Someone posted this over at the Pits. Is there some obvious difference between the machines on which this happens and those that don't?
 
yes, i posted this over there, wanted to cover as many people as possible to get the best fix. yes some people have ATI cards, others have intergrated graphics. so there is a big difference between machines.
