Massive performance problems in Max 2010

So im trying to get into car making for rF1. I got Max 2010 32b, installed the 2010 plugins into the plugin folder, installed the coreshaders into the hardware shaders, and loaded the sample car from the ToolsPublic. The car is all white, and im getting about 1 frame per 3 seconds in smooth + highlights view. The materials in the material browser is all black (im sure from a bad texture path). I cant work at 1 frame every 3 seconds. Whats my malfunction?
 
It seems to be the rFactor shaders. If I apply a standard max shader, the performance is fine.
 
Yes, Max can be VERY sluggish when it can't locate a texture when working with gMats. If you could guide Max to the missing textures it should make your life a lot easier :) .
 
interesting.... I'm using Max 2010 and everything is working fine!
