Mirror Resolution

Is there a way to increase the mirror resolution? If so, how?

There are 2 things that have to be taken into account:
- texture mapping on physical mirror model
- mirror texture file resolution

The first one has impact on how "zoomed" the picture will be. If you map the texture so the picture will be very zoomed, then the whole picture will be lower quality than when not zoomed.

If I remember correctly, default mirror.bmp resolution is 1024x64. Now, you can get higher quality by just resizing that texture (or whatever texture is used as mirror texture).
Most of the newer graphic cards support texture resolution of up to 8192x8192, so if your mod use mirror texture with proportions like the original one (16:1) then you can resize it to 8192x512 and have much, much better quality picture in the mirrors... but of course at a cost in fps drop (rFactor must render picture onto that high res texture).
