Monitor for Gaming

Hi!

I am looking for a 27'' monitor for gaming. My badget is up to 280$. Any suggestions?

Find a site that offers factory refurb monitors and you should be good to go with that price. I would look for brands like Samsung, Sony, Viewsonic to name a few. Response time and view angle are 2 important stats to look for Response time the lower the better, view angle the higher the better. Also look for what type of connection there is. You want DVI at the minimum and if you can get an HDMI and your graphics card supports it that is better.

I'd save a little and get a 40" tv if you are using only one screen. If you plan in the future to get 2 more and make a 3 screen system then monitor.

The rated input lag looks high on that monitor. Too bad you don't live in the U.S. This is a good deal here.

That is the first AOC monitor I have seen that actually has a decent viewing angle CdnRacer. Good find.

170/160 is pretty much bog standard TN panel viewing angles.

Not for AOC. I have seen most of their panels with 90/60.
