Multiple Installs with rFactor Lite?

I own the DVD version of rFactor and wanted to have another install for a certain mod groups mods, so it wouldn't change my main rF GUI. I tried the rF Lite install from rFC, but it asks for an activation key...which the DVD version doesn't have.

Will I have no choice but to use my main install and a Mod Enabler for this mod or is there a way to make multiple copies of an install?

Just copy the rfactor.exe from your DVD to your rfactor lite installation (thus overwriting the rfactor lite exe).
