Need ideal settings for G27 rfactor1 please

Robert_DD

Been awhile since I was on rFactor1 and I can't seem to get the magic back in my G27 for a realistic feel. Started hacking the ini, etc, still can't get a realistic feel. So many of the forum posts are very old and I am unsure what settings are currently best..

Please share your current settings? Thank you!

G27 wheel, G27 pedals or Clubsport V2 pedals

I know settings can vary for different cars and tracks, but is this a good starting point for each?

Should I use LeoFFB with the RealFeel?

Which RealFeelPlugin.dll version do you prefer?

For instance, this is what I am currently using for Formula Armaroli. I followed all the "Read Me" files, but am unsure if these are at the best default:

Logitech Driver:
Overall Effects Strength 101%
Spring 0%
Damper 0%
Enable Centering Spring (checked)
Centering Spring Strength 0%
Degrees of Rotation 271
Allow Game To Adjust Settings (checked)

rFactor Setting Pages:
Force Feedback Strength -72% (but with ReaFeel, I have to "Reverse effects (8)" each time I get in the car)
Force Feedback Type: Wheel
Force Feedback Effects: Full
Digital Steering Rate 50%
Digital Throttle Rate 50%
Digital Brake Rate 50%
Digital Clutch Rate 50%
Speed Sensitivity 0%
Look Ahead 0%
Head Movement 100%
Exaggerated Yaw 25%
ALL CONTROLLER SENSITIVITIES 50%

Thank you!

My Logitech is my spare wheel now but when I run it the settings are like this:

Logitech Driver:
Overall Effects Strength 100%
Spring 0%
Damper 0%
Enable Centering Spring (checked)
Centering Spring Strength 0%
Degrees of Rotation 300-700 (depends on mod, I use Profiler to load each mod with the best rotation)
Allow Game To Adjust Settings (checked)

rFactor Setting Pages:
Force Feedback Strength -78% (Have to reverse the RealFeel in most mods)
Force Feedback Type: Wheel
Force Feedback Effects: Low (anything higher introduces canned effects)
Digital Steering Rate 50% (doesn't affect wheel/pedals)
Digital Throttle Rate 50% (doesn't affect whee/pedals)
Digital Brake Rate 50% (doesn't affect wheel/pedals)
Digital Clutch Rate 50% (doesn't affect wheel/pedals)
Speed Sensitivity 0%-25% (depends on mod)
Look Ahead 0%
Head Movement 0%
Exaggerated Yaw 0%
ALL CONTROLLER SENSITIVITIES ~75% on steering, ~90% on accel and brake (I have a hydraulic brake so you may prefer 50%)

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Can someone clue me in on the negative FFB strength thing for Logitech wheels? Stock rFactor wants this reversed as I understand it, but then you need to reverse RealFeel itself for most mods? I guess I'm getting kind of turned around on what it all means & would appreciate a quick education!

Reverse FF in rFactor 1 is the normal condition for Logitech wheels. I've read that somewhere along the way through its revisions that the Real Feel plugin had its default FF reversed. So for old versions of Real Feel you didn't have to do anything but now it's NumPad 8 for most mods.

I'm using the f1 2016 mod in it's upgrade there is the real feel otpion but when i install it the wheel feels very light. it gets harder only on corbers and on curbs. I tried many settings on the rf menù but all i get it's the same lightness and when i click race and go out of the garage the g25 start to turn by itself like crazi left and right any helP'

@F1SimulatorManiac

From your description it sounds like you need to reverse the FFB strength.
If you have a +ve number in FFB Strength then push the slider to -ve
And if you have a -ve number then push the slider to +ve

And if using the RealFeel pluggin, then hold down the right-cntrl key and press 8 on the keypad.

Typically when reversed your wheel flops from side to side.
