I got rFactor awhile ago, just tried it yesterday and it seems stuck in demo mode - it doesn't crate a user profile. I'm sure I bought the game. How do I activate it???
See item #2 at the trymedia support center for reactivation instructions. If rfactor wasn't activated (demo mode) you should be prompted before rfactor starts to activate it. If not, you can delete the trymedia folder to try and reset it to do so (follow the first 2 steps in this post).
That said, demo mode wouldn't prevent you from creating a user profile. This is likely either access related or antivirus related. Right-click on rfactor and select "Run As Administrator..." in Windows Vista/7 (for XP, make sure you have full administrator access).
