Old F1 games on new PC

F1 Challenge 99-02 = fine
F1 2002 = fine
Sports Car GT = fine with nGlide 3Dfx wrapper (and possibly a few other tweaks)

However...

F1 2000 = barely works
F1 Championship Season 2000 = can be made to work in software mode only
F1 2001 = strangely doesn't work for me (Win8.1 64bit) where 2002 works fine. Not sure why though.

F1 2001 is fixed, I just needed to reinstall it, not sure what caused it to go wrong. F1 2000/CS2000 are more complicated though... I think they have issues with detecting new 3D graphics cards properly...
