each time I start the Rfactor application I receive the error

Project1.exe exception C0000006 error

any help would be appreciated
 
A quick Google search suggests it's malware. I don't think it's a new program so it's strange that your antivirus software didn't catch it.

I don't have much experience getting rid of things myself (combination of luck and care) but I found this page which mentions removing it:
