rFactor asks to be activated when not connected to the net.

Hi,

I recently brought and activated rFactor and was playing last night (While being connected to the net), and was downloading mods installed them and disconnected my net (It is important to note that I have since reinstalled with no mods) when I tried to run rFactor it came up with the screen asking me to activate it, when i put the reconnected the net it worked fine.

I was under the impression that rFactor could be run without an internet connection once activated.

So any help would be appreciated. (I also read that their is a bug with the G27 wheel)

My Specs:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
ROG Formula IV Crosshair Motherboard
AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor (6 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
16GB of Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (Running Crossfire)
Logitech G27 Racing Wheel

At the moment I don't see how any of the specs could have a bearing on this, however the only thing that comes to mind is the G27 bug.

Problem solved,

The reason the activation window popped up was because I was disconnecting through the Local Area Connection, when I pulled out my net while the Local Area Connection was still enabled it worked. I find it odd but in any case if I have have to have the modem off and want to play rFactor I can.
