rFactor doesn't start

Hey guys,
I don't know if this is in the right section of the forum, if not just move it :)
Today i've encountered a problem with my rFactor install. It used to work for the last 3 months straight without a problem, but since today when i start the .exe nothing happens. In task manager i see the process is open for a few seconds but then closes itself for no reason. Not even the rFactor logo is appearing, it just shuts itself down without notice.
I already tried reinstalling a clean and fresh install of rFactor, reinstalled GPU driver... I'm running out of ideas to be honest.
No mods/tracks/plugins have been installed since it last worked.
Any ideas?

update: i've got two windows versions installed (one on SSD and one on a normal HDD), and if i boot from my 2nd windows (win7 64bit aswell), and start the exact same game exe it works. So it must be something windows relative (directx? or something) and not the game itself... any ideas guys? thank you
