RFactor start up

iv been playing my rfactor for 5 months all mods are working and tracks i go to bed and when i try to play it the next day a microsoft error report comes up saying rfactor has encountered a problem and has to close down. i have no idea what to do or start please help
 
it says its a D3D9.DLL problem i have no clue it just sucks i tried installing a different mod and nothing and when i download a Directdx i cant find where to set that up
 
you maybe have install some new addon it looks like map view tv display addon some addons can collide with each other with that D3D9.DLL file ..
 
D3D9.dll is a DirectX component and typically goes in Windows/system32 folder (in XP, not sure in Vista and Win7).

Perhaps the file might be corrupted, so try executing DXSETUP.exe, located in rFactor/Support/DirectX/Install.
It will install D3D9.dll and other required DX components for rF.

Or, try updating your DirectX, from here

wow guys thanks so much turns out it was the tv mod i had was clashing thanks again means a lot
