When i go to load it. It gets to the rfactor symbol then a window pops up and says rFactor has stopped working.

Maybe this mod causes the problem, try to start the game with another mod:
Go to your rFactor\UserData\Your name folder , open Yourname.plr and edit the following line:
Game Description="Lienz2006.rfm" // The current rFactor game file (*.RFM) to load
Now it should start with a rFactor standard series

but i cant even get into the game.....!

goto the mod you downloaded, unzip/extract to a temp folder (not rf)
open a new explorer window, goto rfactor.
delete the entire mod you installed which (hopefully) caused the issue by using the first folder to check where everything is located.
