I figured I would give a status update:
RSC was re-launched July, 2019 and saw 7429 visitors that year on the Web site. 2020 saw 41,000 unique visitors and for 2021 I passed that only four months in. Obviously the number of repeat visitors grows exponentially with that as well.
The site has 574 news posts, 72 developers, 194 simulations (or software I haven't yet verified and is assumed simulation until I tag it otherwise), 212 cars, 13 bikes and 203 tracks with at least a basic profile and a cross-connection with at least one product.
There are 244 files (old mods, game manuals, press kits, etc) and I see an average of 41 files downloaded per day. Seems silently popular.
Twitter has grown quite a bit. This past December I was happy to cross over 2000 and now, 3.5 months later, I sit at 2433 followers. I've had posts that have reached almost a million people.
Facebook loses follows every day, but that's due to the fact that Ignite GT (the folks who owned RSC before I got it back) paid for fake followers. So I'm just keeping real ones. The interactions there seem to be steadily increasing.
Instagram is a bit weird. I generally post only retro stuff there, while everywhere else I post both. There is some growth, probably in-line with the amount of effort I put into it...
YouTube has 273 videos uploaded. These range in content from laps in an ancient simulation through to trailers released today. Most of the videos are under a minute long. I see steady growth there, currently 358 subscribers (which means it doesn't earn anything), and the replies and interactions are starting to trickle in.
The newly created forum sits a little quiet, but that's ok. I know it's not fashionable to have a forum but I have grown to loathe the lost information a chat room provides and I would rather have the comments trickle into a forum when they do come than just disappear. This might be a very slow burn, especially as a lot of sims have a dedicated discussion space these days. Old-RSC used to host it for them.

My goals for the rest of the year are:
Try to get YouTube over 1000 subscribers so I can potentially earn something from it and incentivize myself to make more interesting content. Unfortunately for me I am probably going to have to put the work in, make the more interesting content I have been putting off, to see the growth I want. Le sigh.
Keep posting, posting, posting. News is doing really well, and received nicely. The Ads on the Web site don't make much but it's an incentive to go along with the whole 'labor of love' thing. I need to network a little more. I have started to get some really nice contacts that are giving me source material for news items.
Make things a bit less work-in-progress. While I know this site is a huge undertaking, and that I am effectively cross-referencing every car, bike and track that has ever been in a racing simulation I hate that right now you can go to some sims and not see any of their content listed because I haven't got to it yet. A simple cross-link to even a blank profile would likely look better, so... that.
Have fun. This is here to remind me.
