Hi,
I am in need to design a rubber bumpstop from scratch for truck application.I know the spring travel and spring load condition.Can i design with these data.If so, how to start the design any calculation to determine the stiffness of rubber bumpstop ?
Also if i required the height of the existing bump stop what will it affect at vehicle level and also due to height reduction , the axle is made to contact at more than 2 g. Is it safe to reduce the height?
