Screen goes black while driving

I don't know why but in the past week every time I drive I go about 30-45 seconds and my game will freeze then the monitor will turn off and on very quickly and everything goes back to normal. It has gotten very frustrating as I cant even race anymore.

Any Ideas??
 
Run rfconfig.exe and double check resolution. preferably its the same as you monitor's res
 
Would not know of anything else in rf1 that causes this tbh. you could try running on a different dx level.

if that don't work it sounds more like a monitor issue.
 
I had similar problems when my graphics card was overclocked too much.
