Separated Start Finish Line

As the title said, is this possible to do in rF1? If I'm not mistaken, xstart and xfinish can be placed in different location, aren't they?
 
In my attempt of using separated start and finish position (xstart [?] and xfinish), I encountered some problems, such as pit stop does not work, lap time does not count, and even rF crashes several time without clear reason and no error logged in trace.txt.
