Silverstone Circuit 2012 v1.0 [Released]

Silverstone Circuit 2012 for rFactor 1.

Hi all this is my first completed track and something I worked solidly from January to April of this year. I've put the finishing touches on the track over the last few days but it may still have a few bugs here and there so please report them in this thread and i'll look into them ASAP.

The track was made as part of my final year project I completed at Staffordshire University and I learned so much i could probably restart the entire track and improve it but I want to concentrate on rFactor 2 now and on my Symmons Plains Project.

I want to thank Alex Sawczuk for his advice throughout the process and the Drivers of GPVWC.com who helped me test the track, specifically Dave Carr-Smith who helped organize the tests.

I tried running the National and International layouts on our server, both gave tdf mismatches. I downloaded the track from the mediafire download, both for the server and my own 'puter. I even tried taking the tdf file from the server, then putting it into my install but still had no luck. Both GP layouts work fine.

Any ideas?, anyone...

Incidentally, the track looks and runs ace, offline. Thankyou very much.
 
I'm not sure whats causing that. I've tried running it on a friends server and it worked fine, will look into it next week.

Its probably because all layouts .gdb files refers to SilverStone.tdf file and that file is in all layouts subfolders, though it is different in every folder. The smart thing would be to name .tdf files according to layout, like "SilverstoneGP.tdf" or "SilverstoneNational.tdf", or to make one tdf for all layouts.
There is possibility, that mismatch is caused by another track which has silverstone.tdf file, so make sure to check that you dont have this :)
