Stuck on same car and track

After reinstalling the game and playing for the first time on the new install I am stuck on the same car and track that I first chose. No matter which car and track I choose the same ones always load. I looked in my player file and this car and track are the ones listed.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
 
Try right clicking on the rfactor.exe and selecting "Run As Administrator..."
 
delete those lines in the .plr file and rFactor should load one of the default car mods
